Training and Professional Growth
Upon joining CSMG, you will participate in
a comprehensive training program that covers general business
and consulting skills as well as imparts a strong foundation
in the telecommunications/media industry. In your first week,
you will be assigned to a case team and given a set of immediate
responsibilities. This will enable you quickly and effectively
to learn about the industry, see how we work, know who we are
and understand what our clients need. We know the best training
occurs on the job.
Additionally, we hold ongoing tutorials on various topics such
as specific areas of industry content, interviewing techniques
and software skills. CSMG is committed to internal development
and on-the-job training, and we continuously evolve our training
programs to help our professional staff better serve our clients.
Performance Evaluation and Guidance
One of our key strengths as a small firm
is our ability to monitor closely your development as a professional.
All CSMG consulting staff receives feedback after each major
project. We also have in place a structured review process that
covers performance appraisal, compensation adjustments and promotions,
and developmental plans. In addition to these formal programs,
all of our professionals have the benefit of both upward and
downward day-to-day feedback.
Interest and concern for your progress at CSMG is not limited
to your project manager. All new Analysts are assigned mentors
who are available to provide guidance as needed as well as a
buddy that offers support for practical matters especially during
the first weeks when you are figuring out how things work at
CSMG. Furthermore, all of our professionals, including your
peers and especially the Vice Presidents and Principals, are
available and approachable.
